Diving Deep: My Journey in the DLN Industry Internship Program

Hi everyone!

I'm Jai, a PhD student at NTNU always driven by the quest to redefine the boundaries of interdisciplinary applications of nanomaterials. My journey got super exciting when I joined the DLN Industrial internship. It was a transformative experience that infused my academic pursuit with real-world insights and practical prowess beyond the confines of traditional laboratory settings.

As I stood at the crossroads of my doctoral journey, uncertain of the path ahead, the DLN program showed me a whole new world of possibilities. Working with the Cealtech team wasn't just about science – it was about teamwork and learning from each other. I got better at not just the technical stuff but also at working with others, which is super important in science.

In the realm of PhD research, it's easy to feel alone sometimes, but the DLN program was like a breath of fresh air. We tackled problems together, celebrated successes, and I learned so much from everyone's different backgrounds, mixing academia and industry.

And Stavanger, where the internship was based, was amazing! I discovered something new every day – from walks by the harbor to checking out cool street art. The Cealtech team was awesome too; they helped me settle in and made me feel at home.

Weekends became a canvas for forging connections beyond laboratory confines, as friendly badminton matches with newfound companions underscored the seamless blend of work and leisure, emblematic of life in Stavanger.

The DLN internship wasn't just about adding something cool to my CV; it changed me personally and professionally. It ignited a fervor for scientific exploration, honed my collaborative skills and made me see how academia and industry can work together.

I want to thank the DLN internship team and the wonderful hosts at Cealtech AS. Your guidance and hospitality made this internship truly special and sparked my fascination with the biomedical application of nanomaterials.

Ready to trade your lab coat for an expedition? Join the DLN internship and unlock the boundless potential. let the adventure unfold!
