It is a result of fruitful collaboration between the Centre for Digital Life Norway (DLN), the University of Oslo and SINTEF AS.
Ana Lucia represents the BEDPAN project “Bio-engineered Palladium Nanoparticles” – a DLN project funded by the Research Council of Norway (RCN) where Dirk Linke, UiO, is project manager. Anthoula is newly recruited researcher in the RCN project MAGNIFICENT “Additively manufactured magnetic high entropy alloys for renewable electricity” where Spyros Diplas, SINTEF, is project manager.
Both Ana Lucia and Anthoula are young talents, although having very different areas of research, are using the same instrument, Magnetic Force Microscope, investigating magnetic properties of materials on nanometre scale. Frequently, they are using the same sensitive magnetic probes running experiments one after another and sharing their valuable expertise. Both are supervised by Professor Pavlo Mikheenko, UiO, who introduced them to Magnetic Force Microscopy.
